As hard as it is somedays, when your feet hit the floor in the morning and your gut is in a knot worrying about something in the day ahead. STOP.
Sit back down on your bed. Regroup. Do a quick 10 second meditation. Connect with your breathing, your entire body and realize in this moment, right now, nothing is really wrong. Now how do you feel?
Don’t anticipate negativity, all you accomplish is wasting your precious life in a cocoon of angst. It changes nothing, so be positive.
Recognize the negativity, but say “So what?” Really, so what? Push through its walls that hold you in and take the leap beyond….show yourself that positivity is possible (even if it lasts 10 minutes–it’s 10 minutes more of enjoying life rather than hating it!), even when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
